Although First Church is the oldest congregation in Beckley (founded 1850), we're on the cutting edge of contemporary church growth. Our life together combines serious faith, engaging fellowship, and lasting friendships. Our visitors tell us that we're just about the friendliest church they've ever seen. We are involved in a variety of local ministries, mission projects around West Virginia, and missions around the world. We are constantly aware of our need to share the message and ministry of Christ with our community and the world.
